We had a wonderful stay at Villa Araliya. the Deluxe Suite was spacious and modern, with a balcony and two bathrooms. the hotel's location, away from the main street, made it quiet and peaceful. the staff were incredibly helpful and service-oriented, ensuring that our needs were met. the breakfast offered a good selection of fruits, and the self-service tea made it quick and convenient. the fast internet connection was a bonus. the ambience felt more like a home than a hotel, providing a relaxed and safe environment for our stay. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

I absolutely loved the colonial-style decoration of the hotel, with its terracotta, iron, and teak wood elements. It created such inviting spaces for relaxation. The general areas of the hotel were beautifully maintained, with stone paths, vine-covered trellises, and lovely Frangipani trees. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be accessible and comfortable, making it easy for me to enjoy my stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be clearer instructions and assistance from the staff. Sometimes, as the children of the staff were busy with other tasks, it would have been helpful to have more guidance regarding local attractions and activities suitable for senior guests.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with large beds and mosquito nets. The pool was beautiful and the surrounding area had lots of lovely frangipani trees. We enjoyed the delicious, home-cooked food, which offered a variety of flavors and options. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was great, being close to the beach and within walking distance of some nice restaurants and bars. it was a relaxing and tranquil place to stay.
There were no credit card facilities available at the hotel, although there were plenty of ATMs nearby. Some guests may find the lack of credit card options inconvenient.

Great pool and friendly staff. Convenient location near the airport. the food was delicious.
The price felt a bit high and the room taxes were expensive.

Explored the rich culture and enjoyed the pool with uncomfortable stone sunbeds. Room had canopies to keep bugs out, and the owner was a lover of stray animals.
Loved how the lighting in the room made me feel like I was starring in a horror movie.

Unexpectedly beautiful place with shady rooms and delightful ambiance. The pool is clean and the rooms too, quiet, comfy beds and everything works properly. Breakfast is good, and coffee drinkable which is unusual here! We only had the one night but I would happily stay longer.
